Inspiration

We are all inspired by someone or something. I find a lot of inspiration in other photographers. Below is a list of Photographers who inspire me, to not only be a better photographer, but to also be a better person, friend, and steward of the earth. Please check out their content, which I have linked, and possibly they will also inspire you.

Gavin Hardcastle (AKA Fototripper)

Gavin Hardcastle originally from, West Yorkshire, U.K. is a landscape photographer, videographer, and part comedian, living in Nova Scotia, Canada. Gavin travels the globe sharing his adventures on YouTube and other platforms, explaining his process for achieving some absolutely amazing landscape photographs. Gavin also leads world class photography expeditions. Gavin inspires me because, like me, he finds tranquility, peace and solitude in his photography. Gavin also has the ability to make you laugh. Check out Gavin’s YouTube channel and other platforms. He is sure to inspire, instruct, and give you a smile while you watch and learn.

Dan Willis

Scott West (Wild Alaska)

Scott is a brilliant nature photographer who lives in Anchorage Alaska. Scott takes truly wonderful photographs and videos of wildlife in Alaska. Scott inspires me by his care of love of wildlife. He is a soft spoken man and like all the photographers who inspire you can hear and see the love of wildlife and nature as he discusses the animal or bird he is photographing. Scott also did this year what I would love to do. He quit his full time job and became a full time photographer. I find that to be extremely brave and I wish him nothing but the best. Check out Scott’s work on his Youtube channel and other social media outlets.

Dan Willis Photography - a channel dedicated to the art of wildlife photography and the adventures that come with it. Dan, along with his dad, Pops and now his daughter, Charlotte, take us behind the scenes as they explore nature, capture incredible wildlife moments through both photography and videography, and share their passion for wildlife and photography. Dan also leads world class photography expeditions. Dan inspires me because he is so genuine in his care for wildlife and nature, and his love of his family and sharing these experiences with all of us. Dan provides excellent photography tips along the way and always responds to comments or questions. He is just an all around great person. Check out Dan’s channel. You won’t be disappointed!!
